We went for the $10 an hour deal on Friday night. I would not pay $50 for this but the $10 was worth it on Fridays and Saturdays. I liked how there were lots of balls and people working there that picked up balls and refilled our baskets by the ping-pong tables. It was also fun playing the professional ping-pong player to potentially win prizes. I had a good time. -my review

A fun, clean, friendly spot to play ping pong, Atari, and other games while having a bite (just bar food) or having a drink. It's underground, but tastefully decorated (every wall is decorated by murals). There's a bathtub filled with pingpong balls!

o I stumbled upon Spin by default. I was headed to the ORCHESTRA NOIR concert at the Warner Theater and wanted a drink and a snack. I went to proper 21 but the bar was full so I decided to head across the street. This was in the basement but the music instantly caught my attention. I mean who can bypass the Tootsie Roll. the music was on point. This is a good after work spot. I ordered the lemon pepper fish based on a recommendation by the bartender and a French 75 with Hendrix. The music here is your old school house music which I love. The music that keeps the floor full too bad these patrons were too young too appreciated it .

SPIN is my friend and I's go-to spot after a Wizards game! Just down the street in Metro Center is SPIN, a social bar with plenty of miniature games from ping pong to large Jenga. While it is a bit confusing at times at how to get a game in or where you can play, the SPIN staff is friendly and accommodating. The drinks are consistent and the DJ plays hits all night long. A great place to let your hair down with your friends and dance like nobody's watching!

Spin has all the ingredients to make the perfect date night or going out with friends. Downstairs has a very industrial feel with a modern look from the exposed concrete pillars and wires you can still see from the ceiling. At the same time it is very up scale and modern from the deep blues and brown leather chairs. The menu is extremely easy to navigate and you really can't go wrong with anything from what I saw. My friend and I split a couple things we got the Mac n cheese balls which were amazing and they are served with a dipping sauce that in my opinion, should be served with everything because it was that tasty and worked well with the other items. The short rib sliders are probably some of the best sliders I've ever had and they should really offer that in a full size sandwich option or at least give you the option to order more then the 2 sliders it comes with. The birria boa buns were the least favorite for us. Visually appealing, but lacking in the flavor department. Birria alone should pack a major flavor punch and it just wasn't there. I relied heavily on the dipping sauce from the Mac n cheese bites to really help the boa buns along. My only complaint and i assume there is a reason for this, but there are multiple ping pong tables, but if you want to play it's $50 dollars. I didn't ask too much information past hearing the price so im not sure if that's flat rate play as much as you want or the price per hour. I did find out if you go on Tuesday after 9pm you can play for $9 per hour which in my opinion should be the daily deal. There were also some other random bar games i could see like oversized connect 4. Not sure how much it cost to play those.

I came here on a freezing winter night for a holiday party and had an absolute BLAST! The bouncers were kind and so was the nice lady working the coat check. The space is MUCH bigger than I thought so there is plenty of space for several private parties to occur at once. And it is beautiful so make sure you look cute. They also have a nice photo booth that costs about $6. The star of the night was Jazz for her amazing service. She made sure that no one had an empty drink. Jazz even remember my non-alcoholic drink and kept them flowing. Spin was a great host and I have already recommended it to several couples for date night.

I came here to play TRIVIA that was being hosted by an event planner. First time here. We walked up and it seemed super quiet, but once you went down stairs that's where all the excitement and noise began! Since the venue was hosting an event, we had discounted drinks ($10). Nachos were $21 with shredded beef. Good. Plenty of ping pong tables. Games, life sized games also (Jenga, connect 4) Bathrooms were spacious and clean, Men and Women share a long communal sink. There was a live DJ on this night spinning classic hip hop. Location is about a block+ down from Metro Center The bartendar who was on our side was mostly catering two 2 young women sitting next to us. It was very hard to get his attention for anything
